LIVE LOVE POP began with a simple yet powerful inspiration: family, love, and a passion for creating something meaningful during a difficult time. In 2013, my world was turned upside down when my mother was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer. She has always been my rock, teaching me life’s most important lessons—including how to make the perfect batch of stove-top popcorn, a snack we often enjoyed together as a family.

As my mom went through chemotherapy, I found myself heartbroken and searching for a way to cope. I needed something to channel my energy, something to take my mind off the overwhelming fear and sadness that came with watching her fight this illness. That’s when the idea for LIVE LOVE POP was born.

What started as a small project to keep busy during those tough days became my lifeline. I quit my job to support my mom during her treatments, and with the help of my family, I convinced my dad to build a small 500 sq. ft. manufacturing kitchen. From there, I began hand-popping batches of popcorn with my cousin and a handful of contract employees, including my now-COO. Each flavor was created with care and a deep purpose, and from the beginning, we knew we wanted to give back through our Selfless Snacking™ campaign. Each flavor supports a cause close to our hearts, starting with breast cancer research through our truffle salt flavor.

Now, over a decade later, LIVE LOVE POP has grown into a thriving, mission-driven brand. What began as a way to comfort my mom and myself during the hardest time in our lives has transformed into something much bigger. My mother is now in remission, and our family’s favorite snack has become a symbol of hope, love, and resilience.

At LIVE LOVE POP, we believe in the power of giving back, sharing joy, and making a difference—one bag of popcorn at a time.
