Translation and LocalizationCatalogna, Spain51-200 Employees
Loki is a game localization agency that always existed exclusively in the virtual space. On paper, it was born in Spain in 2015; our first company address used to be the apartment of a friend near the Barcelona harbor. As of today, the core team is made of 14 individuals, all working remotely from a handful of European countries. Basically, we were COVID-ready long before COVID made an entrance. You can think of us as an alliance (or maybe a horde?) of professionals that are really passionate about games and localization. With the help of our freelancers extraordinaire, every month we translate, transcreate, ad-lib, proofread and review approximately a million words. A very respectable number, we think, for a small independent group like ours. We cope with these volumes thanks to the flexibility of our team members: it's common for our project managers to don the linguist hat, or vice versa. Everyone can do more than one thing, anyone would take out the trash (if we actually had an office), everyone still translates every day. All together, we form a squad that is diverse enough to handle anything the world of gaming can throw at us.
