Founded in 1987 by restaurateur Diane Symms, Lombardi’s opened with a vision of serving fresh seasonal dishes with flavors that were inspired by Diane’s adventures through Italy. Inspired by the Lombardy region in Northern Italy, Lombardi’s was named after “Papa Lombardi”, the grandfather of our original chef. Diane opened her first Lombardi’s restaurant in the Ballard neighborhood in July of 1987, with Issaquah opening shortly after in December 1990. The Everett Marina location opened its doors in May of 1998, followed by Mill Creek in September 2012. With the Ballard and Issaquah restaurants sold and closed, the Everett and Mill Creek locations feature lunch, dinner and Happy Hour 7 days a week. Their signature menu and seasonally changing fresh sheets reflect an impressive selection of classic Italian cuisine, as well as a spectacular and award winning wine selection from both Italian and Washington wine regions. Lombardi’s is a family owned business with Diane’s daughter, Kerri Lonergan- Dreke leading the business into the second generation. Together they are passionate about giving back to the communities in which they do business and reside in, and have a strong history of service on many nonprofit boards and foundations.
