Inspired by the 273-mile hiking trail that traverses through the Green Mountains, Long Trail Brewing Company has been a caretaker of Vermont craft since 1989.
 
Like the Ottauquechee River that flows alongside our brewery, we’ve been twisting and turning with the evolving craft beer landscape for more than 25 years, remaining true to our roots with Vermont classics like Long Trail Ale and innovative, hop-drenched offerings like Limbo IPA and our new Trail Hopper IPA; an American IPA with Citra and Simcoe hops that’s built to keep your tastes buds moving from one trail to the next.
 
Moved and motivated by the local culture and surrounding landscape, our partnerships with The Green Mountain Club, Ski Vermont, Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports, and The Flyin Ryan Hawks Foundation keep us tied to the close-knit community of outdoor enthusiasts who have supported our journey. 

With mountains, malts, and hops on our mind, we work hard to create beers that are worthy of our Vermont roots. From experimental, small-batch recipes developed in our farmhouse-turned-pilot-brewery, to our burgeoning sour and wild fermented ales program, our small team of brewers is committed to crafting a trail-worthy family of beers.
