Loop Abroad is the leader in pre-veterinary study abroad programs, working with university partners across the US and conservation organizations around the globe to bring pre-veterinary and veterinary students engaging, authentic learning experiences in the field. Loop Abroad began from a love for travel and the question, "How would our lives have been different if we'd traveled more, experienced more, known what was out there, and spent more time around people who truly love what they do before we'd tried to answer the question, 'What do I want to be when I grown up?'" We wanted to give that opportunity to others. We named the program "Loop", which originally stood for "Learning Opportunities and Outreach Programs," because we loved the idea that any good travel experience is a never-ending loop - you learn and experience new things, you bring those things home with you, you change, which drives you to move exploration and growth, and the process keeps on so that each travel experience has long-lasting implications.
