Loro Parque Group operates a portfolio of zoological and botanical attractions based in Puerto de la Cruz, Canary Islands. Founded in 1972 by Wolfgang Kiessling, it began as a reserve for exotic birds and has grown into the world's largest collection of parrot species and subspecies. The group also oversees Loro Parque Fundación, which directs conservation, education, and research initiatives worldwide. Beyond its animal parks, the group spans hospitality and entertainment, with Hotel Botánico & The Oriental Spa Garden acquired in 1995 and Siam Park opened in 2008 as part of its tourism expansion. It has launched other ventures such as Brunelli’s Steakhouse in 2015 and Poema del Mar aquarium in 2017 in Gran Canaria. In May 2025, the group appointed Mike Jordan as Zoological Director, marking a notable leadership development.
