Loro Parque Group operates a portfolio of zoological and botanical attractions based in Puerto de la Cruz, Canary Islands. Founded in 1972 by Wolfgang Kiessling, it began as a reserve for exotic birds and has grown into the world's largest collection of parrot species and subspecies.
