Lost Our Home Pet Rescue (LOH) in Phoenix, Arizona, provides comprehensive solutions to permanent and temporary displacement, pet abandonment, and hunger by helping both pets and their families, especially during times of domestic violence, eviction, homelessness, illness, etc. As a no-kill rescue with programs linked to preserving the human-animal bond whenever possible, Lost Our Home Pet Rescue takes a proactive approach to keep pets out of overcrowded shelters, where they are at risk of being euthanized, and instead, LOH works hard to keep them with the families that love them. The organization's primary goal is to provide safety net services to pet parents during challenging circumstances, so they don't have to choose between staying in an unhealthy or dangerous situation or losing their pets forever. Our mission is to provide compassionate services to pets and people in crisis. For over 15 years Lost Our Home has focused on finding homes for abandoned or orphaned pets and helping pet parents in need during times of crisis. We have helped over 34,250 pets, fed over 1 million meals to hungry pets, adopted over 10 thousand pets into loving forever homes, and have helped over 20,000 pet families in crisis through our Rescue & Adoption, Temporary Care/Domestic Violence, Pet Food Bank, and Tempe Police Department Partnership Programs. We have provided pets with the care and love they deserve and offered pet parents hope during the most difficult times in their lives and through our partnership with the Tempe Police Department we have provided 24/7 access to our shelter so no matter what time of the day or night a pet is in need, there is a safe place for those pets to land. Our rescue is able to do this work because of donors, volunteers and adopters. If you are able to help us save more lives or keep more families together by donating, volunteering or adopting, please visit our website for more info.
