Lotus Environmental Consulting, LLC was established in 2009 by Katherine M. Farrow with the mission of guiding our clients through the environmental regulatory process in a responsive, high quality, and cost-effective manner. Katherine Farrow serves as the firm’s President and has over 30 years of experience working in the transportation industry.  Our staff consists of environmental specialists including: planners, ecologists, wetland scientists, architectural historians, archaeologists, hazardous waste technicians and GIS specialists. We are committed to providing innovative ideas and state-of-the-art technology for data collection, impact assessment, effects assessments, environmental compliance and permitting.  

Lotus Environmental Consulting is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise in Pennsylvania (#13122) and as a Certified as a Small Diverse (Woman-Owned) Business by the PA Department of General Services (#346220-2012-11-SB-WBE).  The applicable NAICS Codes include #541620 - Environmental Consulting Services and #541720 - Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities.

Lotus is headquartered outside of Philadelphia and we have staff located in southeastern Pennsylvania, Quakertown, Harrisburg, and southwestern Pennsylvania.  We have a total of 20 staff members.  Our clients include PennDOT, PA Turnpike Commission, SEPTA, Maryland Department of Environmental Services, Maryland Port Authority, Delaware Regional Port Authority, Philadelphia Port Authority, various Pennsylvania municipalities and counties, pipeline companies, private developers, and universities.
