The Louisiana Primary Care Association (LPCA) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1982 and based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It serves as a membership organization for Federally Qualified Health Centers and their supporters, with the aim of expanding access to primary care for uninsured and medically underserved populations across the state. LPCA represents 41 federally funded Community Health Center organizations operating more than 470 sites and serving over 489,000 patients annually. As a statewide advocacy group, it emphasizes healthcare access as a foundation for healthier communities. The organization’s constituents are the FQHCs and their supporters, for whom LPCA provides advocacy and coordination to advance community-based health care. In May 2025, LPCA announced the hire of Ahl to support its Community Health Center Day of Action.
