Lovell Sports is a Paignton-based retailer focused on specialist sports, primarily operating through online channels. The business originated in 1990 as Lovell Rugby, building a reputation as a key supplier of rugby gear and apparel. Over time, the brand expanded to cover football with Lovell Soccer and, in 2017, established Lovell Netball, followed by offerings across running, equestrian, cricket, hockey, tennis, triathlon, and water sports. The company sources products from major brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Puma to meet the needs of its diverse sports audience.

Its customer base includes players, coaches, clubs, and enthusiasts seeking specialty equipment across multiple sports, with the e-commerce model enabling broad product access. In 2019, Netball Scotland announced a partnership with Lovell Sports to supply netball footwear, clothing, and equipment, reflecting the company’s involvement in the netball community.
