Luiss Guido Carli University is an independent higher education institution located in Rome, Lazio, Italy. Created between 1974 and 1978 from Pro Deo, it comprises four departments: Economics and Finance, Business and Management, Law, and Political Science, with an educational approach aimed at developing flexibility and a sense of mastery over students' futures. The university maintains strong ties to the business world, with collaborations with over 200 companies, public and private institutions, and multinationals that provide opportunities for final-year students and new graduates.

Historically, about 1,300 students were enrolled in the four departments during the 2011/2012 academic year, and the institution runs admissions tests, mandatory full-time attendance, language and IT training, a comprehensive library, and extensive international exchange programs with around 100 universities in Europe and beyond. It also offers student orientation, tutoring support throughout the degree, internships, seminars, and debates to complement the core curriculum. In 2026, Enel Group partnered with Luiss Business School S.p.A. to advance a study on young Italians and the energy market, reflecting continued industry collaboration.
