Luna Park Sydney is a heritage-listed art deco amusement park located on the water-edge of Sydney Harbour at Milsons Point, New South Wales. Founded in 1935, it attracts over a million visitors annually and remains a notable part of Sydney’s social and cultural life. It is among the world's most intact art-deco amusement parks and was added to the NSW State heritage register in 2010. The site is managed by the Luna Park Reserve Trust, with Luna Park Sydney Pty Ltd holding a 40-year operating lease since 2004. In January 2021 the park closed temporarily to install nine new rides, marking a substantial upgrade, while continuing to offer sideshow games, classic park fare, and regular entertainment and events such as Halloscream. The park operates within the Recreational Facilities industry and maintains a mid-sized workforce.
