Founded in 1994, the Valencia-based company started manufacturing hand-made wood veneer lamps from a small studio in Valencia’s historic centre. Since then, LZF has grown into a company that doesn’t just make lamps but also creates ambiance. This transformation process is the result of a working method based on creation, reflection and research. At LZF, every theme they develop opens a new door leading to other places, other experiences. Their catalogue can be regarded as the writing process through which these concepts can be traced. So, how has the “High fidelity” concept been put together? Are they simply revisiting their previous concept of “Wood touched by light” or is this the beginning of a new phase? Only the consequences will allow LZF to fully understand the causes. Make -reflection-research-make: a loop which summarises their theoretical and practical approach. Their concept is based on the belief that one must play and experiment with light in order to create the right settings and ambiances which will allow the user to create unforgettable moments in their lives.
