M. Padgett Engineering & Construction, LLC is a licensed engineering consulting firm and licensed general contractor. We understand what it takes to quickly and efficiently take your building project from the initial idea to a finished product.  A majority of our work is in the Florence, SC / PeeDee area and in the Charleston, SC / Lowcountry area, although we do work throughout South Carolina, and occasionally in North Carolina and Georgia.  We are pleased to offer engineering, consulting, construction, inspection services, and more.  Our portfolio includes commercial and residential projects, ranging from remodels of historic buildings to new construction, large and small projects. 
Who We Are
Owner, Mike Padgett, P.E., is a South Carolina native from Colleton County.  He is a Clemson University engineering graduate and also earned an M.B.A. from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA.  He has over 20 years experience in industry, engineering, and construction.
