Mid Atlantic Clothing (MAC) Recycling partners with local businesses, community centers, places of worship, and property management companies to helping reduce the more than 2.5 billion pounds of used clothing that end up in our nation’s landfills every year.

MAC Recycling, located in Owings Mills, MD, has been in business since 2005 and is a proud member of SMART (Association of Secondary Materials and Recycled Textiles).

When the community members recycle their used clothing, shoes, purses, and belts at a MAC Recycling bin, they are helping provide affordable clothing to people in need around the world.

Since 2005, MAC Recycling bins has helped the community by being a direct contributor to and supporter of Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) America, the highly acclaimed national program that gives kids the skills they need to avoid involvement in drugs, gangs and violence.

MAC's bins help keep textiles out of local landfills, which helps local governments reduce its waste disposal costs while at the same time having a positive impact on the environment. Surveys have determined that residents not only want bins, they are preferred due to the convenience factor that it gives them (most people will not drive more than 10 minutes away to recycle).

What sets MAC recycling apart from other textile recyclers; is our self-policing and constantly innovating and improving our tools for better service.
•	Before bins are placed we analyze the site plan and demographics to achieve optimal placement.
•	We have invested money in RoadNet technologies. RoadNet provides real time GPS and constant awareness of truck location. Planning algorithm provide efficient routing and DOT compliance. Real time picture messaging to dispatcher allows us to deal with any issues as they arise.
•	24-hour telephone support is provided to handle any unexpected emergencies.
