Angus Macdonald has developed a structural geometry that combines galvanized steel profiles with Ferrocement matrices to create extremely strong building structures using about 20% of the steel & cement required for reinforced concrete & masonry buildings.  This savings reduces cost and construction time.

This means that buildings built this way have a Carbon footprint of about 20% of reinforced concrete & masonry structures.  Their strength to weight ratio is about 6 x that of reinforced concrete structures.  This makes them both affordable and sustainable; a life-saving structural type when applied in regions subject to hurricanes, earthquakes, floods or fire.
