Recent Accomplishments: EXCEL, Excellence in Computer Education and Learning (Excellence in Computer Education and Learning) is a certificate based educational service for young adults on the Autism Spectrum and with related disabilities, preparing them for post secondary education or any setting where computer skills are required. The program requires completion of industry courses as well as employment preparation courses, work-simulation experiences, self advocacy, peer-mentoring, independent living and social skills training. MTC's signature job skills training, is “e-Quality” Recycling Solutions. eQuality Recycling Solutions maintains an environmental, health & safety management system in conformance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards. This system includes implementing appropriate programs and procedures, setting measurable goals and targets, and monitoring and auditing our progress. eQuality Recycling Solutions follows R2’s Reuse, Recover, & Recycle hierarchy & is a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher. MTC won the contract to package and ship the SunPass transponder for Florida Turnpike Enterprise in 2007 & maintains this zero defect contract, as a pathway to employment for people with disabilities.
