Made of Air is a manufacturing company based in Berlin, Berlin, that converts waste biomass into carbon-negative materials for industrial use. These materials are intended to replace fossil-based materials in manufactured products and can be thermoformed with standard industrial processes. Carbon remains stored in the finished goods, creating engineered carbon sinks as they enter service in buildings and consumer products. The company serves manufacturers seeking low-carbon substitutes across multiple applications and positions itself in the manufacturing materials segment. In October 2021, Made of Air announced Air Eau de Parfum, a fragrance derived from air, illustrating a product development.
