Main Line Energy Consultants, a Westwood team is an engineering design and consulting firm located in Lansdale, PA, with additional offices in MN and NY. MLEC was acquired by Westwood Professional Services on October 1, 2019. 

MLEC  was founded to meet the growing demand for energy infrastructure rehabilitation and expansion. MLEC's primary role is to provide transmission and distribution design services to U.S. utilities and support their initiatives to upgrade an aging power delivery system. Growth in this market has increased tremendously with electric utilities seeking qualified professionals to expand, upgrade, and build new transmission lines.

Main Line specializes in high voltage transmission line design projects. The MLEC team is made up of a multi-disciplined group of engineering professionals in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil engineering.
