Main Street Planning Group was founded in 2009 by Neil Himmelstein as a full-service insurance brokerage firm designed to accommodate the needs of agencies, agents and clients with comprehensive products and services to help save and protect client’s assets.

We accomplish this daily using our Code, which is the backbone of how we conduct business. Our Code is comprised of four main components: 

Choice - At Main Street Planning Group, we recognize that no life insurance and annuities carrier has all the best products under one roof. That’s why we have chosen to be vendor agnostic, meaning we maintain the freedom to choose products from different life insurance and annuities carriers. This puts us in a unique position to choose the best products from each company based on our client’s needs.

Organization - We maintain an extensive network of professionals including attorneys, CPAs, commercial and residential bankers, real estate agents, marketing experts and other professionals in every area of financial planning. Committed to the ongoing education of our network, we recently created a digital education program to keep our associates completely up-to-date with the latest economic conditions.

Direction - We take pride in our ability to provide our clients with direction on how best to save and protect their assets at every step along their financial journey. 

Education - In order for us to best advise our clients, we begin by understanding the full breadth of their financial situations and goals. We then create and communicate the plans we’ve created with our clients, making sure they understand everything we’re advising, and how it will positively impact their financial security.
