Maine Wood Heat Co., Inc. Was founded in 1976, and is owned and operated by three family partners, Albie, Cheryl, and their son, Scott Barden. For over thirty years, the mission of Maine Wood Heat has been to introduce high efficiency, environmentally friendly, clean burning, and health giving wood burning masonry heater, cooking and baking systems to North America. For decades, Maine Wood Heat has partnered with Le Panyol, the world’s oldest and only organic wood fired oven manufacturer from France and with Narvi Oy, the industry leader in high quality cast iron hardware. During the same time period, Maine Wood Heat has taught hundreds of masons and owner builders the basic skills of masonry heater design, establishing a time-honored reputation as authorities in high-efficiency wood burning systems both nationally and internationally.
