Make The World Better, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2013 by Connor Barwin, then linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles. In late 2017, MTWB merged with the partner organization, Urban Roots. Connor and Urban Roots founder, Jeff Tubbs, believe that communities prosper when all people have access to high-quality public spaces that provide safe outlets for recreation, sports, and arts-based activities.  

MTWB works to build civic engagement through a robust community-led public space redevelopment process, engaging many partners along the way. 


Mission:  Make The World Better Foundation  works to improve communities one park, one neighborhood at a time.

Vision: We envision a fully engaged city where members of all neighborhoods take pride and ownership over their parks, playgrounds, and public spaces.
