Memorial Assistance Ministries (MAM) is a nonprofit organization offering life-changing opportunities to thousands of under-resourced families since 1983. Houston’s poverty rate reached 21.2% in 2025 — the highest among major U.S. cities. Nearly half of Houston families struggle to make ends meet, even while working hard. Short-term assistance is not enough. Lasting change requires education, stable employment, financial capability, and opportunity. Through bundled economic mobility programs, MAM provides integrated support, helping families build long-term stability.
