The annual event grew from a small group of friends to a large public event with 500 moms and moms-to-be, and a long list of business sponsors. We quickly found the overwhelming response to this product didn't meet the limited business model we had built, so we created a subscription plan and expanded into web and iPad. Today we have paid subscribers in all 50 states and 10 other countries, and a national community of readers and writers on mamalode.com. We aggregate the most powerful spending demographic in the world. They control 85% of household spending, but 91% say advertisers don't understand them. We do.
