Mane Attraction Salon was established in 1977. We have been in our Biltmore location since 1981. In 1998 Kendall Ong and Beate Assmuth-Ong purchased MAS and brought their innovative brand of hairdressing and expertise to Phoenix.

Both began their careers with the prestigious Vidal Sassoon organization. Combined, they have over 50 years of international experience. Their creative talents have taken them around the world, whether teaching other hair stylist or designing new looks for clients; New York, London, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Munich and Beverly Hills, are just a few of the cities they’ve worked their magic.

Education is engrained in the MAS culture. All stylist go through an intensive internal training program to ensure the highest standards in our industry. Additionally, our staff travels nationally and internationally for advanced training to bring the latest in hair and fashion to our clients. Recent trips have included education in Berlin, Edinburgh, New York, Brussels and London.

Because of this commitment to education our work has been seen in national and international media and trade publications such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Arizona Republic, Glamour, Celebrity Shortcuts, Good Day Arizona, Allure, Midday Arizona and Cosmopolitan to name a few.
