Manuel Weyman Group, Inc. provides technical support and project management services to the electric power generation industry, with a focus on renewable power. Mr. Manuel has a mechanical engineering degree from Vanderbilt University (1980), is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in the State of Nevada, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) by the Project Management Institute.  Mr. Manuel’s experience includes 36 years within the oil and gas, geothermal, and gas-turbine power industries, with 20 years focused on the geothermal industry.  He has held management and engineering positions within Chevron, CalEnergy, Calpine, Advanced Power Projects and Gradient Resources.  International experience includes serving as COO (Asia) for CalEnergy in Jakarta and consulting on power projects in Kuwait.  His expertise includes mechanical engineering, construction, plant O&M, project management, and management of power portfolios.

Mr. Weyman has degrees in chemical engineering and chemistry from University of Colorado (1979).  His experience includes 26 years within geothermal power and mining. Following graduation, he accepted a U.S. Navy commission and remained on active duty for 11 years. He began his career in the geothermal industry in 1991 with CalEnergy, serving in engineering and management roles through 2003. He worked for AMEC as a lead I&C engineer, project manager, and pre-commissioning manager through 2007. He continued to work with AMEC as a consultant on geothermal and mining projects through 2009. In 2010, he accepted a position as Sr. Engineer with Gradient Resources. Mr. Weyman has experience in process design, power engineering, construction, and O&M, with primary focus on geothermal operations, project management, and project-wide asset management.
