Southern Methodist University has designed the Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Leadership and Innovation with the busy working professional in mind.

FORMAT
The Executive Hybrid format calls for the professional pursuing their degree to attend classes on Monday evenings and Saturdays. The Monday evening lectures are taped for those not able to attend. Saturday classes are design to optimize student interaction with their peers so that they may apply the concepts being taught in the course to case studies and real world examples. Out of town students participate in Saturday sessions through the use of online interactive tools.

Many students have indicated that they have taken what was learned in the Saturday session and applied it in their work on Monday.

FACULTY
Professors teaching in the Manufacturing Systems Management program have a minimum of twenty years of practical experience in industry applying what they are presenting in the classroom as well as advanced degrees in the subject matter – the emphasis is on bridging the gap between academia and industry. 

VETERANS
Veterans who have honorably served in the armed forces of the United States are eligible for a tuition discount of fifty percent.
