MAP Real Estate is the only tenant advisory firm in the Chicago area that pledges to donate 10% of our commissions to the charities of our clients' choosing. MAP has handled over 800 client projects, including office, medical and light industrial uses, in the last 30 years and we excel at getting our clients the best lease terms. We assist our clients in all aspects of their office space transactions, from finding space to negotiating all lease terms, to insuring that all punchlist items are completed. We also represent clients seeking to purchase office space. Approximately one-third of annual transactions are lease renewals. At MAP you work directly with company principals who are committed to understanding your needs and maximizing your options. Our overriding goal is to create the necessary leverage in the market to get you the best deal on the commercial space you want. MAP Real Estate has a long history of supporting communities. It introduced the Investing In Communities® program (IIC) to translate real estate transactions into additional dollars for the non-profit community; through IIC, MAP gives an agreed-upon percentage of its commission (paid by the building owner) to its client who then has the option to contribute those funds to a favorite non-profit. If MAP’s client is a non-profit, it keeps the unrestricted IIC funds. Since IIC’s inception in 1995, MAP has donated over $250,000 to more than 50 Chicago non-profits. Having now established Investing In Communities as a separate non-profit corporation, MAP’s founders are growing IIC’s positive impact on the community by expanding its size and scope to incorporate broader participation across the business, non-profit, and education sectors.
