Maple Securities has two primary business segments, each comprising various lines of business. The first is focused on collateralized, asset-based lending with securitization takeouts. As we apply the model to other assets and other jurisdictions, we believe we will create a portfolio of dynamic drivers of future growth. 

The second major business segment is fee and investment income. These are niches in which Maple has special competency that we not only use ourselves but also are able to package into attractive solutions for clients. Proprietary trading, as just one example, will continue to generate investment income for shareholders while its application to investment management increasingly earns fee income from others.
