Founded in 1959 in Medford, Oregon, Margaret Custer Ford pioneered the way for women in business. In 1992, mother and daughter, Nancy Gudekunst, began working together in Portland. In 2005, her husband, Peter Gudekunst, and son Tom Gudekunst joined the family business.
