The MassHire Metro South/West Career Center is a government administration initiative with locations in Framingham and Norwood, forming part of a statewide network focused on workforce services. For businesses, the centers provide cost-effective services such as candidate pre-screening, recruitment events, training resources, and a single point of contact for state programs through Mass BizWorks. For job seekers, they offer employment support, connections to training for in-demand roles, labor market information, workshops, networking events, and job-search skill development. They serve 43 cities and towns, including Framingham and Norwood, and assist more than 12,000 job seekers annually; a recent development is a partnership with Keefe at Night to administer programs from admissions through apprenticeship placement.
