Maternity Care Coalition is a Philadelphia-based non-profit organization focused on improving the health and well-being of pregnant women and parenting families, with a particular emphasis on communities facing poverty, infant mortality, health disparities, and changing immigration patterns in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Since 1980, the group has supported more than 160,000 families through a range of services designed to accompany families at every stage of pregnancy and a child’s early years, aiming to enhance school readiness for children aged 0–3. The organization operates within the social services and public health landscape, addressing gaps in maternal and child health by empowering parents, promoting community support systems, and fostering economic security to help families become healthier, more connected, and self-sufficient. Based in Philadelphia, MCC partners with local institutions and communities to advance policies and programs that improve maternal and child health outcomes and create equitable opportunities for families to thrive.
