MaxCare is an Oklahoma-based PBM that has been providing exceptional services since 1985. As a subsidiary of Pharmacy Providers of Oklahoma (PPOk), one of the nation’s premier organizations of independent pharmacies, we are well versed in every aspect of the pharmaceutical industry. We work with clients to create a customized benefits plan that works for them, all while being truly transparent and restoring a new ethical standard to our industry. Our main focus is to reduce the overall drug spend by promoting the use of generic drugs, managing factors that increase cost, and most importantly, educating our members to make the best possible decisions.

Our core mission is to keep business in the local economy by favoring retail 90 instead of out-of-state mail service, maintaining the last line of connectivity between the patient and the pharmacist by one-on-one, face-to-face engagement and aligning the goals of the client and the pharmacy to make sure plan members receive the best possible care at an affordable price. Unlike many of our industry competitors, we continue to work toward pharmacy transparency on the local, state and national levels. We feel very strongly that transparency eliminates all conflicts of interest and creates a level playing field where service, honesty and expertise once again become meaningful characteristics.
