Maysville Local Schools is a rural Ohio Public PK-12 School District located in Zanesville, Ohio in Muskingum County. We service approximately 2,200-2,400 PK-12 students from within our district and through open enrollment. The district is housed on one campus with three main buildings; Maysville Preschool/Administrative Center, Maysville Elementary (K-5) and Maysville 6-12. Maysville offers a state of the art PK Facility that offers Extended Care services past the regular preschool. At Maysville High School, the Maysville Early College High School offers students associate degrees in some areas or the equivalent of up to 2 years of college credit - all on our high school campus. Maysville is a leading district in the area of implementing the most effective educational practices in our state, such as Ohio's New Learning Standards, Formative Instructional Practices, Technology Integration, STEM courses, Personalized Learning Stratgies, and College and Career Readiness. We are also a proud member of the Ohio Appalachian Collaborative (OAC) and are one of Ohio's RttT and TIF district.
