MBI, a small nonprofit biotechnology research organization, is based in Lansing, Michigan. It functions as a mission-driven accelerator that derisks early-stage biotechnologies through a milestone-based, stage-gated development process. The organization brings together science, engineering, operations and business expertise with flexible infrastructure to move technologies from the laboratory to pilot-scale development.
