Founded in 1973, the McAlister family of companies established single-asset partnerships to acquire land parcels in the path of growth for single-family and multi-family residential, retail, and mixed-use commercial growth in the greater Houston area as investments. In 2003, McAlister expanded its platform from single-asset partnerships to discretionary real estate investment funds acquiring multiple investment properties in order to achieve the benefits of diversification and cash flow to investors.
