McAlister Investment Real Estate is an independent investment firm focused on strategic acquisition of undeveloped and underutilized land parcels in the greater metropolitan markets of Texas and the Southern United States. Founded in 1973, the McAlister family of companies established single-asset partnerships to acquire land parcels in the path of growth for single-family and multi-family residential, retail, and mixed-use commercial growth in the greater Houston area as investments. In 2003, McAlister expanded its platform from single-asset partnerships to discretionary real estate investment funds acquiring multiple investment properties in order to achieve the benefits of diversification and cash flow to investors.
