McBride Architects is an architecture, planning and design firm based in New York City. Founded in 1983 by Nate McBride, the firm has built private and public works across the country. We have a deep respect for our clients and an intention to build homes, not houses. We believe your home should be a reflection of your own personal narrative and the way you live and we bring 40 years of expertise to the collaborative design experience. In addition to our residential work, we have designed a number of institutional facilities for non-profit groups and educational institutions. Our work in the art world includes Alexander & Bonin Gallery, Galerie Lelong, The Studio of Sean Scully, several installations for sculptor Petah Coyne and a private museum in upstate New York. Our work has been published in a variety of magazines and books including Dwell Magazine, Cottages & Gardens, Elle Decor and Veranda.
