MCO has evolved into a multifaceted, full service company over the years. As the market changed, and new needs arose, MCO diversified from its original construction, demolition and asbestos abatement functions to mold remediation, lead paint abatement, soil contamination, radon gas measurement and mitigation, emergency response, and indoor air quality. All environmental contracts are completed in-house. No subcontractors are involved. In 1998, it added landscaping, painting, waterproofing, and repair work. Even though new activities were incorporated, the firm continued to contract design-build projects. MCO is a unique company. Even though it is a small and family operated, it is versatile, and led by individuals who possess strong academic credentials in addition to practical experience. The principals of the firm are committed to serving the needs of the clients, and are always accessible. MCO strives to retain the small firm relationship combined with the technical expertise associated with larger, more impersonal companies.
