McRae's U.S. Mail Service, Inc. was established in 1987 as a family business with a single truck. McRae's U.S. Mail Service has grown consistently by providing outstanding service to the U.S. Postal Service and private industries. McRae's U.S. Mail Service began with two routes in south-eastern Wisconsin and has grown to operating multiple terminals throughout the Midwest.

McRae's U.S. Mail Service, Inc. is a Sub-S corporation. We carry a one-million-dollar insurance policy as well as five million dollars in an umbrella policy with cargo insurance provided as needed.

The employees we hire are personally interviewed and selected by our management team. We take great pride in the people we hire and screen all potential employees using a vigorous and detailed process. All employees maintain current MVRs, Fed Med cards, and are subject to random drug and alcohol testing as required by the Department of Transportation. Our pride in our drivers extend to their behavior in being both prompt and courteous to all those they work with.

All trucks that we have in our fleet are purchased new and are inspected yearly per the regulations of the Department of Transportation. All of these vehicles are meticulously maintained by our dedicated repair shops. We also maintain our trucking fleet by requiring drivers to take initiative in completing daily truck inspection forms which allows us to gauge when a truck will need repairs and/or maintenance. Each straight truck is equipped with hydraulic powered lift gates with a 2500-pound load capacity and pallet jacks. Most of our straight trucks can hold up to 15,000 pounds.
