Mechanical Testing Services (MTS) was founded to provide full-scale testing to serve the oil and gas industry. We offer comprehensive testing capabilities to simulate just about every field condition imaginable.

We’ve completed over 1000 tests for our global customers since we started MTS in 2011 and we’re located just 40 miles northwest of Houston in Waller, Texas and are conveniently close to major highways and airports. 

Testing Parameters:
	Maximum Gas Pressure of 45,000 psi
	Maximum Liquid Pressure of 60,000 psi
	Maximum High Temperature is 1,200 degrees F and more
	Maximum Low Temperature is minus 50 degrees F
	Maximum Loads of 5 million lbs tension and compression 
	Bending up to 450,000 ft-lbs

Testing Capabilities:
1.	Six load frames for a wide range of testing
MTS has six combined load frames ranging from 1.5 to 5 million lbs. 

2.	Six test bays with in-ground shielding
All of our load frames are located within below ground test bays with full top shielding. This provides additional safety protection and we’re able to contain any hostile environment testing that our customers may require. 

3.	Torque testing capacity
We have make and break power tong and bucking systems that have up to 150,000 ft-lbs of torque testing capacity that can accommodate both vertical and horizontal configurations and tubulars up to 24 inches. 

4.	Downhole tool and Production Equipment testing
We have a 2,500 sq ft outside area specifically designed to accommodate downhole tool and production equipment testing. This includes a 40-ft cased hole that we can suspend downhole tool assemblies for a variety of ISO, API and customer specified testing.  

5.	Customer inventory management
We have a state-of-the-art, customer inventory management system where we store customer test articles in our dedicated 5,500 sq ft warehouse. Our bar-coding system provides top-of-the-line organization and inventory management.
