Medical Packaging Inc., LLC (MPI) is a privately held medical equipment manufacturer founded in 1971 and based in Flemington, New Jersey. It began by introducing a bench-scale strip packager for hospitals, becoming the first U.S. company to design and market such a device. The firm provides packaging and labeling solutions for a range of products—oral solids, liquids, ampoules, vials, and syringes—and serves hospitals, long-term care facilities, repackagers, and pharmaceutical companies on an international basis.

MPI focuses on serving smaller pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract drug manufacturers with liquid cup unit-dose packaging systems that deliver FDA-compliant packages at a lower price point and with an easy-to-use design. These offerings are particularly suited to lower-volume products that may not be profitable on high-speed packaging lines. In 2021, MPI named John Zripko as President and CEO, reflecting leadership change within the privately held company.
