Mediterranean College is a higher education institution established in Greece in 1977 as the first independent English-speaking college in the country. It operates through partnerships with UK universities and awarding bodies to offer a range of franchised undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing professional development programs delivered in English or Greek, with degrees issued by the collaborating institutions. The college aims to provide internationally recognized qualifications through programs that can be taken full-time or part-time, serving students who seek degrees aligned with UK and US higher education standards. It is licensed by the Hellenic Ministry of Education and maintains accreditation and quality oversight from bodies such as the British Accreditation Council and the UK Quality Assurance Agency, reflecting its positioning within the broader higher education landscape in Greece. Mediterranean College serves students across three campuses in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Glyfada, offering eight academic schools including Business, Shipping, Tourism & Hospitality, Computing, Engineering, Psychology, Education, and Health & Sports Sciences. A recent development highlights a franchising agreement with the University of Derby, underscoring ongoing collaboration with UK institutions to expand its program portfolio.
