Ment'or BKB Foundation is a Manhattan-based nonprofit focused on fundraising and developing culinary talent in the United States. Founded in 2008 by chefs Jerome Bocuse, Daniel Boulud, and Thomas Keller, it supports young American cooks through scholarships, internships, and access to a Culinary Council of mentors to guide their careers. The organization also runs a formal education grant program and an annual Young Chef Competition series, alongside other events to engage the culinary community and donors. It oversees the U.S. selection process for the Bocuse d’Or competition, which takes place in Lyon every two years. A recent development is that in April 2026 it organized and hosted the 2026 Young Chef and Commis Competitions at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, presented by The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
