Mercy Health -- Youngstown (MHY) is the premier integrated health system in the Mahoning Valley of Ohio.  MHY is a Catholic, nonprofit health system providing nationally ranked care across the continuum from physician offices and ambulatory care sites, to hospital-based acute care, to home care, to long-term care, and to palliative medicine and hospice.  MHY is a region of Mercy Health, headquartered in Cincinnati, the largest integrated health system in Ohio.
MHY includes three Magnet-certified acute hospitals: 
1. St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital -- a 388 bed teaching hospital and regional referral center. St. E's includes the only Level I Trauma Center for a nine county catchment area and provides broad clinical leadership in Heart & Vascular care, Neurosurgery and Neurosciences, Oncology, Trauma, Critical Care, Orthopedics and Spine Surgery, Internal Medicine, Breast Care Center, Robotic Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Surgery.  St. E's is a Joint Commission accredited Stroke Center and Spine Center of Excellence, and the first Magnet Hospital for Nursing leadership in the state of Ohio.  St. E's is the only Joint Commission-accredited Sepsis Center of Excellence in Ohio.
2.  St. Joseph Warren Hospital -- a 160-bed teaching hospital that provides Level II Trauma services to the Trumbull County and surrounding areas.  Areas of excellence include general surgery, bariatric surgery, ob/gyn, pediatrics, oncology and emergency medicine.
3.  St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital -- an almost 240-bed community hospital, named in 2010 to Thomson-Reuters Top 100 Hospitals, with expertise in general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, internal medicine and emergency medicine.  SEB is the home to the market's only Level III OB and Level III NICU (operated by Akron Children's Hospital).
