The Merrimack Investment Fund was founded in the Fall of 2017, with an initial amount of $100,000. 

The Merrimack Investment Fund is a student organization that is responsible for managing an equity portfolio. This student-managed portfolio gives highly motivated students at Merrimack with a strong interest in finance and investments the opportunity to make real investment decisions utilizing real world applications. The fund meets in the Mucci Capital Markets Lab to manage the portfolio and research various equities. The students use Bloomberg and other tools to conduct the appropriate fundamental and quantitative analysis to prepare their investment decisions.  The fund is open to all majors and provides students with the experience of working in a team environment and making group decisions.
