METCON is a mid-sized commercial general contractor serving the San Francisco Bay Area. It seeks to reduce construction stress by anticipating potential delays rather than merely reacting to them, supported by a team of project managers and field supervisors with decades of local experience and engineers educated at leading programs. The company concentrates on delivering high-quality work as a core objective. It is based in Pleasanton, California, within the Bay Area market.

Founded in 2011, METCON has positioned itself as a tenant-improvement specialist for the San Francisco Bay Area. In 2025, METCON served as a construction partner in a Balfour Beatty–led joint venture with RS&H, NC State University, and the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality on a 7,000-space parking expansion designed to advance sustainability.
