Meyers Learning Center (MLC) is a marriage of talents, borne of a labor of love.  It began with a passion for teaching and empowering students.  Ali Zidel Meyers, MSW, taught and tutored in a range of educational settings for years and began her own tutoring company in 2001.  In 2005, as the demand for Ali’s expertise increased, Adam Meyers, MBA, MIM, joined Ali to create what would become Meyers Learning Center, Inc.  The couple developed a proprietary time management, organization, and study skills program to enhance their traditional subject-based tutoring.  They recruited the most experienced, diverse, and passionate teachers in Silicon Valley, setting the highest standards in their quest to empower students with life skills beyond traditional tutoring.  MLC provides top quality services to a continuously expanding network of families, schools, and youth professionals in the Silicon Valley region.

Meyers Learning Center’s tutors focus on strengths: building motivation, confidence, and self-efficacy upon students’ innate capacities.  In addition, MLC takes time to understand and address students' obstacles to achievement, tailoring individualized strategies for overcoming challenges.  Through this interactive process, students grow in confidence, power, and success. MLC teaches the whole student, viewing each learner in the dynamic context of a school, family, and life stage. MLC has grown through the years, but its core values of excellence, professionalism, and integrity remain the same.
