Established in 1991, MICA (formerly known as Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad), is the only residential institute in India and perhaps in the Asia-Pacific region, dedicated to creating Leadership in Strategic Marketing and Communication. MICA is an autonomous, non-profit institution, offering a wide-range of academic programmes during the past two decades, MICA now has three residential programs - the Post Graduate Programme (PGP), the Crafting Creative Communications (CCC) and the Fellow Programme in Management-Communications (FPM).

A top rated institute, MICA offers an AICTE approved PGP course (PGDM-C/PGDM), equivalent to an MBA with specialisations in Advertising & Brand Management, Digital Communication Management, Data Science and Business Analytics, Media & Entertainment Management.

MICA’s FPM [Fellow Programme in Management] is the only of its kind AICTE approved doctoral level programme that encourages both fundamental and applied research in the communication domain, with offerings in the sub-areas of Management, Communication, Marketing, Media and Entertainment, Digital Marketing.
