Since the 1970’s Michael Singer’s work has opened new possibilities for outdoor and indoor sculpture and contributed to the definition of site specific art and the development of public places. Singer’s more recent work has been instrumental in transforming public art, architecture, landscape and planning projects into successful models for urban and ecological renewal. Singer’s site specific works provide elements that foster new growth and life, retain and cleanse water, create areas to witness natural systems and learn from beautiful landscapes, and are respectful of site, culture, and history. 

Michael Singer Studio is a multifaceted art, design, and planning studio focused on understanding and expressing each project’s environmental systems and interactions as well as exploring its social and educational potential. Michael Singer Studio projects are noted for specificity to the site, aesthetic beauty, functionality, and artful details in design and fabrication. The studio offers in-house architectural and landscape architectural design, planning, interpretive design, fabrication, and construction, and is experienced in working with teams that include a variety of other professionals from engineers to botanists and policy makers. 

Michael Singer Inc. is the business entity of  Michael Singer which is responsible for the contractual arrangements for projects; the Studio is Michael Singer's collaborative team who assist in the advancement of Michael Singer Inc. projects.
